HARRISBURG – Rep. Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) reported that the House passed legislation this week that would remove the heavy focus on standardized testing as a requirement to graduate and instead allow students various options to show proficiency in pursuing their own career paths.

Harrisburg officials have announced the availability of $6.25 million for streambank restoration and recovery efforts by local communities.

Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne), announced today that New Milford Municipal Authority and Hallstead Great Bend Joint Sewer Authority received state grant money from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program. Rail-Trail Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania Inc. also received funds from the Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program.
