HARRISBURG – Rep. Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne) announced that area school districts were awarded state grants this week as a part of a state-funded initiative to help these school districts improve student safety.

Harrisburg officials have announced the availability of $6.25 million for streambank restoration and recovery efforts by local communities.

Jonathan Fritz (R-Susquehanna/Wayne), announced today that New Milford Municipal Authority and Hallstead Great Bend Joint Sewer Authority received state grant money from the Pennsylvania Small Water and Sewer Program. Rail-Trail Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania Inc. also received funds from the Greenways, Trails and Recreation Program.
